OAVT Large Animal and Livestock Biosecurity Student Externship Program
The OAVT is pleased to provide an opportunity for second year veterinary technician/technology students in Ontario to advance their learning in the area of large animals and livestock. The focus is on best practices in biosecurity on and between farms while working with livestock, equine and production animals.
Students must apply for to the OAVT for a chance to participate in this unique externship. Those selected will receive a stipend at the completion of the externship to help support any relocation, travel and accommodation costs incurred.
