• A workshop, for VT's interested in completing the requirements registration.
• To understand the professionalism and ethical requirements of being an RVT and how professionalism and ethics affects our role in a variety of environments.

This required learning for certification/registration provides an opportunity to learn about professionalism and ethics from experience. Participants work through real situations in a variety of work environmments to experience the challenges of being a professional RVT.

The experience includes:

• Understanding the importance of a defined protocol in your work environment
• Situations that frustrate RVTs and how to handle them
• Working with other professionals in a regulated/defined environment
• The potential implications of actions or inaction in a variety of real life situations
• How to communicate boundaries to other professionals

The Professionalism and Ethics course will be offered the third Saturday of January and June each year, and the Thursday of the Annual OAVT Conference.
